A unique music fellowship that has been performing for well over a decade, the Jacques Place Band has raised money for local charities including the Ronald McDonald House, the Starkey Hearing Foundation, and the Cedar Riverside People's Center.

Currently comprising nine musicians, the band features a three-piece horn section, two drummers, a guitarist, a bassist, a keyboardist, and a lead vocalist. We are sometimes joined onstage by friends from the local and national music scenes. Our setlist includes the music of Tower of Power, Santana, Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago, Van Morrison, Buddy Miles, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, James Brown, Steely Dan, the Rolling Stones, Little Feat, Crosby Stills & Nash, and others.

Members of the Jacques Place Band work in a variety of professional fields. We count among our members a lawyer, a dentist, an accountant, a human resources consultant, a couple of financial advisors, and a few working and teaching musicians. For all of us, music is our passion and we love sharing our music with family, friends, and others.
